According to one of the officers, during the full-scale war, the Russian troops learned to effectively use their forces for offensive operations. “Nowadays countless bombs are often dropped on the front, not like before – only in a few insignificant hangars, but in every building we hold”, the military said, noting that without ammunition and missiles for air defense, the Ukrainians will not be able to hold their positions, UNIAN agency reported.
Now Ukraine is building kilometer-long anti-tank defenses - not only in the south, but also along the borders with Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions. Recently, the US Congress, after months of delay, finally allocated $60 billion in military aid to Kiev, which is critical at this time.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said new supplies have already started arriving, but at a slow pace. “The process must be accelerated,” he urged. In recent weeks, the Russian armed forces have been able to make limited advances, particularly in the Donetsk region, due to their superior firepower.
