In Ukraine, the full-scale war continues and this year the Russian Federation will throw "absolutely everything" it has at the Ukrainian state. This is what NV.ua columnist Ivan Yakovina writes in his article.
According to him, we must “prepare for the fact that this will be a total war on the Russian side” and Kyiv must strike back. “And in 2024, most likely, we will have to hire additional people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – 100, 200, 300 thousand people”, the journalist predicted.
In his words, it will be easier to recruit people into the Ukrainian armed forces if the terms of service are clearly defined. "Because if you join the army indefinitely, the number of people willing to join the armed forces will quickly decrease," the author emphasizes. The law on mobilization in Ukraine has been the subject of much controversy for a long time.
„And if the deadline is clearly indicated, then it is much easier, purely psychologically, for each person to leave. I think that would be logical, although, of course, it is not me who decides”, he also pointed out. According to him, Putin will throw everything he has to achieve his goals in Ukraine.
