Michael Schumacher's unique Bugatti EB110 hidden in Romania has been discovered (VIDEO)

One of the rarest and most personal supercars of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher has been brought to light. It is an exclusive 1994 Bugatti EB110 coupe that has been kept in a private collection in Romania for years.

The bright yellow supercar was built to Schumacher's individual order. For a long time, there was no public information about the car, as it is very rarely seen on the roads. An exception was made for the famous racer Ben Collins, known as The Stig from Top Gear, who posted a video review of the unique Bugatti on his YouTube channel, revealing its location in Romania.

Why does Schumacher choose Bugatti? In 1994, when Schumacher was at the peak of his career, he conducted a comparative test of five of the most desirable supercars of the era: the Bugatti EB110, Ferrari F40, Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Diablo and Porsche 911 Turbo.

Although his collection was dominated by Ferrari models, it was the Bugatti EB110 that appealed to the German the most. This is not surprising, since for its time the EB110 was extremely technologically advanced, a car with a carbon body, all-wheel drive and a 3.5-liter V12 engine with four turbines.

The unique Super Sport (SS) version
Schumacher chose the most powerful version - the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport (SS) coupe, which has 610 horsepower. With these parameters, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 355 km/h. At that time, it was the fastest car in the world.

The limited edition EB110 SS (only 33 were produced) is generally lighter, with a simpler interior. However, Schumacher's yellow car is unique, as it is equipped with a more comfortable leather interior than the more luxurious Bugatti EB110 GT version. There is no other EB110 with this combination of the power of the SS and the comfort of the GT.

Michael Schumacher owned the unique coupe until 2003. During his ownership, he had an accident with the car, but it was successfully restored. The legendary racer's autograph is preserved on its windshield.

The current owner purchased the Bugatti EB110 SS at auction in 2010 and continues to care for this piece of automotive history.
