Yesterday we shared the news that the Chinese brand Zeekr is entering the Bulgarian market, and today it became clear that the new Zeekr 001 is not only more powerful and has a longer range, but also charges much faster. The electric car supports megawatt charging.
According to the Carscoops website, the updated electric car Zeekr 001 2026 charges the fastest of all production models. The new Zeekr 001 has a 900-volt architecture and a modern battery with a capacity of 95 kWh, which supports ultra-fast charging with a capacity of up to 1140 kW.
In this mode, charging from 10 to 80% takes only 7 minutes, which is not much longer than charging a gasoline car. Currently, no serial electric car is capable of charging so quickly.
With this battery, the Zeekr 001 has a range of 710 km. The 912 horsepower all-wheel drive unit allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.83 seconds and reach a top speed of 280 km/h.
The Zeekr 001 2026 electric car can also be ordered with a larger battery of 103 kWh. The range in this case is 762 km, and fast charging to 80% takes 10 minutes.
Of course, such fast charging requires equipment with appropriate power. However, China has already begun installing ultra-fast charging stations with a power of 1300 kW. However, as you might guess, there are no such in our country.
