The most expensive Range Rover is set

It is the work of Overfinch and is based on the classic first-generation Range Rover

The British tuning studio Overfinch, which has specialized in improving Land Rover products for half a century, decided to celebrate its anniversary by creating the most expensive Range Rover on the planet. The creation of this exclusive model was entrusted to the specialists of the Overfinch Heritage division, established in 2021. The presentation of the luxury SUV is planned for next year.

Details about the new model are limited, but the company defines it as “Overfinch's most expensive Range Rover to date, if not the most expensive ever sold“. The car will likely be based on the classic first-generation Range Rover (1970-1996), making it an exceptional restomod project.

Overfinch has a long history of creating expensive and exclusive versions of Range Rover Classics. For comparison, the price of one of their latest versions, the Field Edition, starts at £340,000 ($457,000). The new anniversary model is expected to exceed that amount, with an estimated price of £400,000 ($537,000) – an amount that puts it in direct competition with luxury SUVs like the well-equipped Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Despite the high price of its creations, Overfinch's business is thriving thanks to growing interest from wealthy buyers.

“We have achieved good profitability and continue to invest in product development, in our Heritage division and in the development of international sales channels in key regions such as North America and the Middle East“, commented the head of the company, Arthur Silverton.

In addition to the anniversary model, Overfinch plans to offer another new product, created in collaboration with the famous British arms manufacturer Holland & Holland. The official presentation of this car will take place by the end of the month, and its circulation will be limited to just 25 copies.
