Skoda shows off part of its latest model

Skoda is accelerating its electric vehicle strategy, announcing a series of new models to be launched in 2025. Alongside the upcoming Epiq urban crossover, a sibling to the Volkswagen ID.2, Skoda is preparing to launch a large, family-friendly electric SUV. Teaser images have been released that give a glimpse of the production version of the Vision 7S concept, unveiled in 2022.

The nearly five-meter-long SUV is expected to make its public debut at the IAA exhibition in Munich. However, the exact dimensions are still subject to change, with the wheelbase initially listed as 3.08 m - a value that falls between the ID.7 and the ID. Buzz LWB. Skoda also indicated a potential length of approximately 4.9 meters, and the market premiere is planned for 2026.

From a technical point of view, the SUV is expected to have a battery with a capacity of 89 kWh, providing a range of over 600 km according to WLTP standards. Charging capabilities are expected to reach 200 kW. Following Skoda's established convention for naming electric vehicles, the final name of the SUV is expected to begin with “E“ and ending with „Q“.

In addition, Skoda plans to present a preliminary version of the electric Octavia Combi at the IAA in September 2025 - a model previously announced for 2023. This demonstrates Skoda's commitment to expanding its electric range in various automotive segments.
