Tatra showed very interesting new all-wheel drive trucks

The new equipment will be equipped with military and specialized trucks

At the 26th annual military-historical festival in Gichelne, which was held on the outskirts of the Czech city of Králky, Tatra Trucks presented a number of interesting off-road trucks. The highlight of the exhibition was the new army version of the Force model with a 4x4 wheel formula.

This machine was developed to meet the needs of modern armies, combining the legendary Tatra endurance with innovative technologies. The new Tatra Force 4x4 is equipped with a modernized Tatra 8-cylinder air-cooled engine. One of the most significant innovations is the company's own development - the electronically controlled F-shift manual transmission. This system eliminates the mechanical connection between the gear lever and the transmission, allowing for faster and more precise gear shifting. The driver can change gears instantly by releasing the clutch pedal immediately after selecting a gear.

During the festival, other impressive vehicles were also shown, highlighting the versatility and adaptability of the Tatra chassis. Among them, a unique Tatra 8x8 all-terrain fire truck stood out. It has an armored cabin that ensures maximum crew safety during operations in extreme conditions. The truck is an example of how Tatra adapts its proven concept with a central tube and independently suspended half-axles for various specialized applications.

Another notable exhibit was a water cannon for special forces, based on the Tatra Force (4x4) chassis. These vehicles, often used for riot control or forest firefighting, demonstrate Tatra's ability to provide security and rescue solutions that can handle the toughest terrain challenges.

With these innovations, Tatra Trucks strengthens its position as a leading manufacturer of heavy off-road trucks for military and civilian purposes, proving that traditional engineering solutions can be successfully combined with modern technologies.
