An exclusive BMW R 18 Transcontinental motorcycle that belonged to Pope Leo XIV will be offered for auction in Germany. This unique two-wheeled model was gifted to the Pope by BMW's motorcycle division after a motorcycle race from Bavaria to Rome.
The motorcycle is painted in a special pearl white color and is decorated with the Vatican coat of arms and a nameplate with the name of Pope Leo XIV. Before being auctioned by RM Sotheby's in Austria, the bike will be exhibited at the BMW Museum in Munich from September 15 to October 7.
All funds raised from the sale of the motorcycle will be donated to charity to help the children of Madagascar.
