Kiev hopes to sign 4 bilateral documents with Washington: on arms supplies, drone production, free trade and security guarantees. This was announced by Andriy Yermak, head of Volodymyr Zelensky's office, announcing visits of a Ukrainian delegation to the US.

It is important for us to agree and sign very important documents. These are, first of all, documents on the supply of American arms, the supply of our drones and joint production with the US.“ "This is a free trade agreement and, of course, the most important document - the one on security guarantees, a bilateral document with the United States, which is legally binding," he said on the Rada television channel.

According to him, a Ukrainian technical delegation will be in the United States this week to negotiate two of these documents. Yermak also announced his visit to the United States with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Rustem Umerov, as well as a visit by Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.

“This week a technical delegation will be in the United States to discuss preparations for the signing of two important agreements. I believe that I will also be in the United States soon, together with Umerov. Our Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the country in mid-October.“ “Therefore, the work continues“, he said.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Kiev wants to conclude agreements with Washington on the purchase of weapons and the production of drones in the near future. Later, Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States Olga Stefanyshyna said that negotiations on the legal formalization of military-industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the United States are scheduled to begin on September 30.

On September 28, Politico reportedthat Zelensky wants to conclude a “mega-deal“ with the United States for the supply of weapons to Ukraine, including long-range weapons, worth $90 billion.
