The cold months usually bring a change in the rhythm of our daily lives – we spend more time at home, cook more often and in larger quantities, and accordingly shop more.
It is precisely in winter that control over food and household products costs becomes more tangible, and affordable prices are what brings the necessary peace of mind with every visit to the store. This year, these seasonal challenges coincide with the period of adaptation to the new currency, which makes predictability and clear planning an even more important factor for households. In response to these needs, Lidl remains a reliable partner for its customers, continuing to focus on accessibility and full transparency.
In addition to all the chain's weekly promotions, digital coupons and offers in the Lidl Plus mobile application, Lidl is offering nearly 120 more products at reduced prices until February 1. This promotion is a continuation of the campaign “By you in every step towards the euro“, which the retailer launched back in November to provide security and predictability to its customers during the transition period to the new currency.
Lower bill at the daily market
During the winter months, we often fill the shopping cart with basic food products that we consume almost daily. We can find many of these, at reduced prices, at Lidl until February 1st.
The traditional winter market usually includes one or more products with a long shelf life, which we can store in the cupboard until we need them, without worrying about them going bad. Among them can be red lentils, 500 g – reduced from 1.63 €/3.19 lv. to 1.38 €/2.70 lv., coarsely ground lyutenitsa “Rodna stryaha“, 550 g, reduced from 4.09 €/8.00 lv. to 3.57 €/6.98 lv., as well as apple cider vinegar “Rodna stryaha“, 700 ml, with a lower price from 1.22 €/2.39 lv. to 1.02 €/1.99 lv.
The list of bargain offers continues with a variety of dairy products, which are an indispensable part of the daily menu of many. Now you can get yogurt “Rodna stryaha“ 4% (400 g) for 0.61 €/1.19 BGN instead of 0.76 €/1.49 BGN, as well as 500 g of strained yogurt of the same brand (10%) – reduced from 2.19 €/4.28 BGN to 1.84 €/3.60 BGN. For lovers of breakfast sandwiches, Pilos processed cheese (100 g) is also available at a lower price, which costs 0.64 €/1.25 BGN instead of 0.76 €/1.49 BGN. For days when there is no time for long cooking, customers have quick and convenient solutions at lower prices. You can choose breaded chicken fillets (360 g) – reduced from 3.32 €/6.49 lv. to 2.76 €/5.40 lv., or canned pork shank (300 g), reduced from 2.55 €/4.99 lv. to 2.14 €/4.19 lv. For fans of appetizers, a suitable addition to the winter menu is the sliced Panagyurishte sausage (150 g) for 3.42 €/6.69 lv. instead of 4.03 €/7.88 lv. For an even tastier ending, opt for a freshly baked baguette from the “Lidl Bakery“ (300 g), whose price has been changed from 0.51 €/1.00 BGN to 0.46 €/0.90 BGN.
This month, lower prices also cover personal hygiene and home cleaning products. Among the discounted items are Cien's own brand provitamin shampoo, 400 ml, reduced from 2.55 €/4.99 BGN to 2.19 €/4.28 BGN, Cien shower gel and shampoo, 400 ml – from 1.27 €/2.48 BGN to 1.02 €/1.99 BGN, liquid laundry detergent, 2.2 l – from 6.64 €/12.99 lv. to 5.98 €/11.70 lv., as well as Doussy fabric softener, 1.5 l, also at a lower price - from 2.30 €/4.50 lv. to 2.04 €/3.99 lv.
Weekly offers
During the cold months, the weekly market is focused on products needed to prepare warm and nutritious winter meals. Among the most advantageous offers in the weekly Lidl brochure is German butter with 82% fat content (250 g), which from January 22 to 25 is offered at a top price of 1.89 €/3.70 BGN. In addition to being very preferred for preparing various delicious dishes, it is also suitable for preparing aromatic homemade pastries.
There are a number of other products at affordable prices. In the meat display case we find boneless pork neck (whole piece) at a price of 3.89 €/7.61 BGN per kilogram. A healthy dose of freshness and support for immunity can be provided with lemons (1.99 €/3.89 BGN per kg), and for culinary ideas, fresh mushrooms in a 500 g package (1.79 €/3.50 BGN) are available. For a side dish or a snack, you can get the practical combination of peas and carrots for 1.89 €/3.70 lv. You can also add bread with seeds from the “Lidl Bakery”, whose price has been reduced to 0.75 €/1.47 lv. For a snack in between, the mix of nuts and dried fruits for 2.09 €/4.09 lv is suitable.
From Thursday (22.01) to Sunday (25.01), lovers of traditional Bulgarian cuisine can choose between meatballs or XXL kebabs made of pork with SGS quality guarantee, which are 32% cheaper and are offered for 4.60 €/9.00 BGN per kilogram. During the same period, you can also add a fresh dose of vitamins with oranges, which are 51% cheaper and are priced at 0.75 €/1.47 BGN per kilogram.
The market may end with an emphasis on the “Super Weekend“ on January 24 and 25, when sunflower oil in a 1-liter package will be offered at a discount from 1.68 €/3.29 BGN to 1.09 €/2.19 BGN.

Shopping can become even more profitable with the Lidl Plus mobile application, which unlocks special discounts on favorite products. In the discount list, you can find delicious boiled ham (sliced, 100 g) – from 1.27 €/2.48 lv. to 0.86 €/1.68 lv.
