Dubai Airports confirms that from tonight, March 2, 2026, a limited resumption of operations will begin, with a small number of flights being allowed to operate from Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC).
This was announced by the government's Dubai Media Office on the X platform. Passengers are advised not to travel to DXB or DWC unless they have been directly notified by their airline with a confirmed departure time.
FlyDubai will operate a limited number of flights on the evening of March 2, 2026, the Dubai Media Office also announced. Customers are advised to update their contact details via “Manage Your Booking“ and check flight status on flydubai.com before travelling to the airport.
The other local airline - Emirates, will also begin operating a limited number of flights from the evening of March 2, the Dubai Media Office said. Priority is being given to passengers with earlier bookings. Passengers who have been rebooked on these flights will be notified directly by Emirates. Please do not proceed to the airport unless you have received confirmation from the airline, the media office added.
