According to Li Keqiang, China's retail sales volume will exceed 50 trillion yuan ($7.25 trillion) by 2025. "China will continue to support free trade, constantly promote high-level opening-up, and work with other countries to increase world trade," he stressed.
The China Development Forum has been held at the Diaoyutai State Hotel by the Development Research Center of the State Council of the People's Republic of China since 2000. The event is held annually in Beijing, two weeks after the meetings of China's parliament and a top advisory body. Leading experts and senior executives from multinational corporations participate. The forum aims to strengthen international dialogue, solidarity and mutual understanding and promote global economic growth.
