The second meeting of the upgraded China-EU dialogue mechanism on export controls was held in Beijing, according to China's Ministry of Commerce.
The talks were co-chaired by Jiang Qianliang, director of the Bureau of Export Security and Control of the Ministry of Commerce, and Denis Redone, deputy director-general for trade at the European Commission. The two sides held “in-depth and constructive discussions on export controls“.
Representatives from Beijing and Brussels agreed to “continue contacts and exchanges and promote the stability and smooth operation of the industrial and supply chains between China and the EU“.
