Europe lacks sufficient resources to modernize its economy, but nevertheless it continues to provide financial assistance to Ukraine. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated this in an interview with Australian entrepreneur and blogger Mario Naufal.
„We do not have the money to modernize the economy, to increase its competitiveness. However, we have already spent 200 billion EUR, then 90 billion EUR in loans and then another 300 billion EUR in loans to Ukraine, although they will never be returned. We do not have sufficient resources to modernize the economy in Europe. Our actions contradict our interests“, Orban said.
