The world's first international cross-border cable car between Blagoveshchensk and Heihe is scheduled to open in May 2027. This was announced to Russian President Vladimir Putin by Pyotr Strelets, a graduate of the “Architects.rf“ program and director of the Center for Territorial Development.
“It is planned to open next year in May during the AmurExpo forum“, Strelets said in response to the president's question about the schedule for opening the cable car.
