“The holding company Dodo Brands, which owns the largest chain of Dodo Pizza pizzerias in Russia and Kazakhstan and the Drinkit digital cafe chain, has completed the process of moving from the Virgin Islands to the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC). This means that the company has changed its jurisdiction, while retaining its status as a legal entity, its entire business structure and current obligations“, the center's press service said in a statement.

It is indicated that the relocation process was completed on June 12. “We are confident that the company's presence in AIFC will not only strengthen our ecosystem, but also attract additional attention of investors to Kazakhstan and Central Asia as a whole“, the press service quotes the words of AIFC manager Renat Bekturov.

AIFC recalled that the holding is among the 7 largest food service companies in Europe and manages over 1,300 pizzerias and cafes. in 26 countries in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia. As of early June 2025, over 100 Dodo Pizza pizzerias and 14 Drinkit cafes were operating in Kazakhstan. Another 33 pizzerias are open in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the report notes.
