The main topics discussed at a working meeting of the management of the Electrohold group with the regional governor and mayors of municipalities in Montana region were related to the sustainable development of the electricity distribution network in the region and the specifics of the services provided by the companies in the group.
The host of the meeting - the regional governor Eng. Kalin Haitov, expressed his support for the annual holding of joint meetings in such a format, because only operational interaction between representatives of the local government and the management of the energy company can guarantee the implementation of common goals for the benefit of citizens and the economy in the Montana region.
„Our strategic goals are related to ensuring a more reliable supply of electricity through modernization and digitalization of the network and better service to consumers. Their implementation is closely related to effective coordination and planning of joint actions with municipalities. We believe that the best long-term and sustainable solutions are achieved jointly, through an open and constructive dialogue with the local government“, said Radoslav Tsvetkov, Executive Director of Electric Distribution Networks West.
The management of Electrohold presented the priorities in the investment plans of the electric distribution company ERM West, related to increasing the security of electricity supply and reducing the accident rate of facilities. The amount for the implementation of projects from the investment program of ERM West in Montana district in 2025 amounts to nearly 3.6 million BGN.
The company will invest over 1.33 million BGN in the reconstruction and modernization of the electricity distribution network, which is almost twice the funds spent last year for this activity. The security of the electricity supply to the villages of Belotintsi, Dolna Riksa, Klisuritsa, Slavotin and Smolyanovtsi in Montana municipality will be significantly improved with the planned reconstruction and modernization of the 20 kV overhead power line “Hajdushki dol“ for a total value of 311 thousand BGN.
Nearly 850 thousand BGN have also been secured. for the removal and recycling of electricity meters and the purchase and installation of smart meters in settlements in the municipalities of Berkovitsa, Boychinovtsi, Brusartsi, Lom, Medkovets and Montana. In the construction of facilities and sites for connecting new customers to the electricity distribution network in the region this year, ERM West will invest 1.41 million BGN.
Electrohold is holding a series of meetings with representatives of local authorities in Western Bulgaria. The events are part of the company's policy of open, active and dialogical communication with the mayors of municipalities and the regional governors of the territory it serves.
