Transferring state services online not only speeds up the process of serving citizens, but also significantly saves budget funds. This was stated in an interview with the “Kazinform“ agency by Rostislav Konyashkin, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition to reducing direct costs, the transition to digitalization increases transparency, improves the quality of services and makes them more convenient for citizens.
"Providing a service at the Center for Public Services costs ten times more than providing a service through the EGOV portal, for example. For each measure of state support, we first analyze, study current costs, launch a pilot project, consider the results, and if we see an improvement in the process, optimization of budget funds, we scale it to the entire country," he says.
Today, over 92% of all state services are digitized in Kazakhstan. In addition to them, work is also being done on other interaction formats.
"We are actively working not only on state services, but also on other interaction formats: in the EGOV-mobile mobile application we have introduced the services “e-Otіnіsh“, “e-notary“, “Taza Kazakhstan“ and others. We recently launched the “Law and Order“ service, which allows you to file a complaint with the police. We have launched an interesting service where you can directly contact the owner of the car if he has blocked your path, forgotten to close the window or someone has encroached on his property.
The goal is to bring the most popular services of all government agencies into an accessible environment for citizens.
