The implementation of artificial intelligence in state agencies of Kazakhstan will be accelerated with the help of QazTech and a supercomputer. This is the main decision of a meeting of the Commission on Digitalization, government authorities reported.

The Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiev announced the creation of an artificial intelligence infrastructure. The Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for 2024-2029 has been approved to form an institutional environment in Kazakhstan. and a draft law “On Artificial Intelligence” has been developed.

The following educational programs are being implemented to train personnel in the field of artificial intelligence: AI Corporate, TUMO Center, AI People, etc. Data was heard on digital solutions being developed, such as e-agent, egov AI, AI-therapist, tax helper, SDU and E-translator.

The national platform QazTech is designed for the rapid creation of digital products. The implementation of the platform model of digitalization allows reducing the period for launching new IT solutions from 1.5-3 years to 6 months.

The platform guarantees uniform standards, project security and the use of cloud technologies. QazTech has already been tested for compliance with information security requirements, and the full launch is planned for August. Today, the QazTech platform is used by the unified Internet portal of state agencies, Smart Bridge, the National Ecological Database of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, and others.

Also, all state agencies are developing digital transformation maps based on successful international experience, including the practice of Singapore. The maps are aimed at simplifying and accelerating key processes using artificial intelligence and modern technologies. The emphasis is on reworking outdated procedures, digitizing data and accounting for citizens' requests received through e-Otinish, 109 and social networks. Priority within the Maps is given to reengineering processes and implementing promising technologies, including artificial intelligence.

The national artificial intelligence infrastructure being created, including the supercomputer being created, provides great opportunities for strengthening the work on implementing artificial intelligence in the activities of state agencies. Olzhas Bektenov ordered the completion of the Digital Transformation Maps within a month. They will form the basis for the integration of artificial intelligence, and will also allow businesses to create their own solutions based on government data.
