The founder of one of the largest American private military companies Blackwater, Eric Prince, is interested in buying Ukrainian companies that produce drones, the British newspaper The Guardian reported, citing its sources.
„Eric will buy companies that produce drones“, the source told the publication. „Whether they will be sold is not clear. For Ukrainians, these companies are already strategic assets.“
On August 30, The Daily Telegraph reported that US President Donald Trump was negotiating with European countries about the possibility of sending employees of an American private military company to Ukraine to provide “security guarantees“. It is assumed that PMC employees will be engaged in the construction of fortifications and new military bases, as well as in the protection of the interests of American businesses in Ukraine.
