The 18th edition of Electrohold's internship program has ended

Interns demonstrated knowledge and commitment in key activities and projects

Electrohold officially closed the 18th edition of its internship program. This year, 63 young people from Bulgarian and foreign universities participated in it, who chose to spend the summer months laying the foundations for their future professional development.

In this edition, Electrohold gave interns even greater opportunities to participate in real projects and learn through practice. Young people were included in every stage from the start to the end of the program.

This year's participants have profiles in areas such as energy, information technology, finance and administration. They received high marks for their performance and a chance for future professional development in the companies of the Electrohold group. Over 85% of the interns expressed a desire to continue their career development in the group or to participate in the program again. A significant number of them are participating for the second year in a row, which is a sign of continuity, trust and long-term interest in Electrohold.

Under the mentorship of experienced experts, the interns participated in projects such as management and evaluation of investment proposals, preparation of project documentation, transfer pricing and financial reporting, as well as control of the implementation of construction and installation activities on the electricity distribution network.

One of the key initiatives in the program this year was the replacement of the lighting at the Sofia Vocational High School of Electronics “John Atanasov“. Some of the interns also participated in the activities of installing energy-efficient lighting fixtures at the school, combining the acquisition of practical knowledge with social engagement.

The young people became acquainted with the ERM West campaign “Life is worth more than likes“, aimed at preventing risky behavior among children and teenagers related to climbing electric poles and high-voltage equipment to shoot “extreme“ videos and photos for social networks. They committed to being ambassadors among their peers for the campaign with the hashtag #StayAliveChallenge.

“We are proud that Your Energy is not only the slogan of our internship program, but also shows its true essence. We believe that when we give trust, we receive enthusiasm, ideas and energy. We are convinced that this is the successful formula through which the next generation of specialists in the energy sector is built,“ said Evgeniya Nakova, Director of “Human Resources“ of Electrohold.

The Electrohold internship program is part of the group's long-term commitment to discover, support and develop young talents, giving them direction for professional development and opportunities for future realization in the energy sector.

So far, almost 1,300 participants have gone through the internship program, with over 210 finding their professional fulfillment in the group, and some of them already holding management positions.
