There is heavy traffic at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint (BCP) with Turkey, at the entrance for passenger cars. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Border Police - Ministry of Internal Affairs, on the department's website. The traffic information is as of 6 a.m. this morning.
On the border with Romania, the ferry platform serving the Oryahovo - Beket border crossing is temporarily out of service due to the low level of the Danube River. Drivers are advised to use alternative border crossings, the Border Police recommends.
Due to major repairs to the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse, a temporary traffic organization has been introduced. The crossing is carried out in one lane with a pass-through regime, which is regulated by employees of the contractor company.
