The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office is about to request permanent arrest for the man detained for the beating at Terminal 1 at the "Vasil Levski" airport in Sofia, BNT reports.
A 54-year-old man has been charged with assault for hooligan motives. On Saturday night, in a commercial facility at Terminal 1 at the "Vasil Levski" airport, the accused hit the victim in the head with a glass bottle. As a result, he suffered moderate bodily injury.
According to investigators, the aggression was caused by stacks of cigarettes and they specify that it was not caused by the victim.
