The supreme divisive of the nation Rumen Radev today used the first school day to poison the atmosphere in the country again. This was written on Facebook by Nikolay Nankov from GERB-SDF.
"For over four years now he has been talking about some mythical sacks for “Hemus”, but he has not shown anything. And we saw the dogs with the bundles of contraband from his people in photos….Yes, completing the “Hemus” highway will be twice as expensive. But not for the reasons invented for the political attack.
And because there are purely economic arguments - and if the president can't count, let him go back to first class. For the rest, it is clear that the prices in 2019, at which "Hemus" was calculated and at which the advances were given, are quite different from the prices in 2025. Everyone who goes to the store is aware of this.
The important questions about "Hemus" are different: since the advances, according to Radev and company, were a problem, why didn't his regional ministers demand the collateral / guarantees and insurance made according to the letter of the law? Why didn't they stop the "bad inhouses"? And - on the contrary, they indexed them by millions.
Why did they let what was built collapse, steal cables and iron, compromise unmonolithic facilities and “unsealed” routes? Why did they stop construction at all? I'll tell you why - entirely with political arguments. But as always, the bills for their lies came and unfortunately will be paid by Bulgarian citizens."
