The government is not doing its job and it is high time for it to go. This was said on “The Day Begins“ on BNT, PP–DB MP Bogdan Bogdanov, on the occasion of the fifth consecutive vote of no confidence in the government.
He emphasized that mistakes in key sectors are already leading to real impoverishment of Bulgarians and growing social tension:
“Problems with the administration of justice affect every area — from healthcare, through water crises, to internal order. This government is incapable of dealing with key issues“.
“The issue of justice and internal order affects all sectors. The problems with ineffective justice and political repression show that the government uses repressive bodies to satisfy its political or business needs“, he also said.
According to him, the Ministry of Interior is not working effectively. Not everywhere, but there are specific striking cases. And this is destroying the trust of society.
To the criticism that the vote is doomed and wastes parliamentary time, Bogdanov replied:
“We hope that more and more people will see that this government is harmful – and this is already happening. With our actions, we want to change the vicious policies and the way decisions are made. The center of power cannot be shifted outside the Council of Ministers“.
