Personally, I would suggest abolishing the appointment function. The idea is for the president to be a balancer, we need such a person. He does not belong to any of the three branches. Failure to perform certain functions leads to problems. It is not normal not to make a decision. It is one thing to disagree in words, it is another to impose it in practice. Things are not going well with us, so they are forced to change the legal rules and norms to eliminate it. It may turn out that today's rulers will be victims of tomorrow's rulers," he warned.
„I wonder why the president got stuck. It was the same with other presidents, they disagreed, but they never contradicted state policy. Measures must be taken, because there is no other way. The authority of the state is determined by its attitude towards the special services“, Kiril Radev also said.
He commented on what kind of person should head the National Security Agency: “It should be a professional, a well-trained person. Political bias does not matter. The service must fulfill duties related to national security, trust is extremely important.”
In his words, this “stubbornness” is not useful.
Kiril Radev identified the biggest risk to our national security: “If the service is blocked and does not work according to its capabilities and expectations for it. Its role is enormous.
