A serious accident occurred on Sofia's Dragan Tsankov Boulevard in the section between the Park Hotel Moskva and the TV Tower. Two people died in a collision between a car and a motorcycle, the Emergency Medical Center reported.
The alarm was raised at 12:33 p.m. today. Three minutes later, the first emergency medical team arrived at the scene of the accident. Two more ambulances arrived after that.
The driver of the car died. Two people were riding on the motorcycle, and the rider of the motorcycle also died. Only the 18-year-old girl riding behind the motorcycle survived, the Emergency Medical Center said. The girl has a serious injury to her abdomen. An emergency team is currently transporting her to ISUL Hospital.
Traffic in the area is difficult.
