Thousands watched the 3D mapping show "Tsarevgrad Tarnov" live in Veliko Tarnovo last night, BNT reported.

The spectacular light show is part of the program for the 117th anniversary of the declaration of Independence. Dozens of lasers, hundreds of projectors and three-dimensional mapping told the story of the greatness of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.

The show was projected onto the facade of the "Boris Denev" art gallery and the "Asenevtsi" monument, and the old part of Veliko Tarnovo turned into an amphitheater. The culmination was a magnificent dawn over the old capital city.
