Today is the holiday of Bulgarian independence. However, independence must be defended every day to be real, and not just symbolic. This is what the leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov wrote on his personal Facebook profile on the occasion of Bulgaria's national holiday.
And he adds: "Because on September 22, 1908, we became an independent kingdom, but today it is time to become an independent republic!".
