The drivers from Robbie Williams' team, who were extorted by two inspectors from the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration“ (IAAA), were forced to go to an ATM to withdraw the requested amount of money. This was written by the mayor of the capital's “Sredets” district Traycho Traykov on Facebook.
"...near Novi Han, a young man stopped the production trucks and asked them for 700 euros, just like that. In cash. And since they didn't have any, he made them walk to some distant ATM," reads his post.
We recall that earlier today the Institute for Road Safety (IRT) reported corruption during the inspection of trucks transporting equipment for the British artist's concert, which took place on September 28 at the Vasil Levski National Stadium.
Transport Minister Grozdan Karadjov announced that the two inspectors have been fired.
