Drivers should drive with increased caution and at a reasonable speed through the "Vitinya" and "Echemishka" tunnels on the "Hemus" highway, the "Road Infrastructure" Agency (API) announced. The cause is a power line failure, as a result of which the facilities are without lighting.
The teams are working to restore the power supply as soon as possible, the road agency specified, adding that in the afternoon the lighting was restored in the "Topli Dol" tunnel.
Drivers should follow traffic rules, not undertake risky overtaking and comply with the speed limit, in order to guarantee the safety of all travelers, the RIA also calls.
