Former leader of the People's Party Kiril Petkov and co-chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" Bozhidar Bozanov are already defendants, after the prosecutor's office filed an indictment with the Sofia City Court on October 1. This is reported by the Bulgarian National Radio.

Kiril Petkov is accused of attempting to coerce the former Minister of Electronic Governance from the "Denkov" cabinet Alexander Yolovski.

The accusation against Bozhidar Bozhanov is that, as Minister of Electronic Governance and the contracting authority of a public procurement, he violated his official duties under the Law on the Protection of Classified Information.

The fact that the prosecutor's office has filed indictments against Kiril Petkov and Bozhidar Bozhanov became known only today, after posts by the two on social networks. According to Kiril Petkov, this is a political repression ordered by Delyan Peevski. The former leader of "We Continue the Change" wrote on Facebook:

"The prosecutor's office with its illegal chief filed the indictment in court against me and Bozhanov quietly on October 1. Did he do it after “the fat D” yelled at “Dondukov” that he was going to finish us off?

What the illegal Sarafov and “fat D” cannot realize is that they cannot lock up all the free people in Bulgaria and that we are not at all afraid of the actions of their captured structure."
