"Over the past year of the campaign "Be brave, be good!" against violence against and between children, we can boast of excellent results, because thanks to the campaign we managed to attract a large part of society". This was emphasized to the Bulgarian National Radio by Teodora Ivanova, Chairperson of the State Agency for Child Protection (SACP):

"Last year, 15,720 children participated in this campaign, which was an undisputed success. This is the first time something like this has happened in the Child Protection Agency. We were joined by 130 municipalities that lent a shoulder so that we could together announce simultaneously on the same day that not only state institutions, but also local authorities, we all say "no" to violence. We are all against the use of violence against children and between children.

On the subject of the case of physical and sexual violence against a 4-year-old child in a kindergarten in Kableshkovo, the chairman of the State Agency for Child Protection commented:

"At this stage, we have no data on sexual violence against the child. A signal was immediately submitted to the District Prosecutor's Office in Burgas so that they could carry out inspections. We do not have such powers. Regarding whether a crime was committed against the child, we are now awaiting the expert reports and the final conclusion of the Varna District Prosecutor's Office. As far as I understand, the Chief Prosecutor has intervened and moved the case from Burgas to Varna, so we expect this result.".
