It is absolutely forbidden for people to enter the "Elenite" holiday village at least until Wednesday. This was announced by Chief Commissioner Zahari Vaskov, Director of the Main Directorate of the "National Police".
According to him, 200 people have been evacuated, 100 of whom have gone to acquaintances and relatives, and the rest have been accommodated in hotels:
"The entire region has been secured with teams of the Gendarmerie and Police. For now, this will remain until Wednesday, when the Crisis Headquarters will meet to make a decision on a possible relaxation of the measures. The forces of all regional directorates have been reinforced. There is constant monitoring by patrols, constant monitoring of critical points and coordination with the relevant authorities. This is for the entire country.
Commissioner Alexander Dzhartov, Director of the Main Directorate "Fire Safety and Population Protection", announced that in "Elenite" there are no people who refuse to evacuate.
He added that there is currently no new complication of the situation in the country and assured that measures have been taken due to the expected new heavy rainfall at night and tomorrow:
"Our teams continue to work on removing the debris from the flood that occurred in "Elenite". Our teams have been mobilized. We have a reinforced duty. The equipment is in working order, and at night, including, we will have patrols in those areas where a red code has been declared, so that information can be received in a timely manner where there are problems and we can react accordingly".
51 settlements in our country are without electricity after the heavy rains at the end of last week, Commissioner Dzhartov also announced. He announced that the situation in Tran region is already normalizing:
"All fallen trees that obstructed movement on the territory of Tran municipality have been removed, that is, there is access to all settlements. The water supply to the city of Tran has also been restored".
