A new meeting of the National Water Board will be held, Nova TV reports. It was formed by a decision of the Council of Ministers with the main task – to coordinate the actions of all institutions responsible for overcoming the water crisis and preventing future similar problems.
Its chairman is Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov, and the board includes the ministers of environment and water, regional development and public works, finance, energy, agriculture and food, health, and economy and industry.
At the first meeting of the National Board, urgent, but also longer-term solutions to the issue of water supply were discussed. Subsequently, it was necessary to hold emergency meetings in Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo due to the ongoing crisis in the region.
