The authorities reveal the data from the inspections after the disaster in the resort complex “Elenite“. The state will demolish the hotel built on a river in the flooded resort, bTV reported.
The “Negresco“ hotel is located on the path of the Drashtela River, which passes through “Elenite“. It is not clear when the river gave way.
„The construction permit from the Nessebar Municipality was issued in 2007 by the chief architect, and the river practically passes under a holiday residential building, which is marked as the „Negresco“ hotel, Ivan Ivanov, Minister of Regional Development, told bTV.
A week after the water disaster in the complex on the seashore, the authorities are categorical that construction cannot be carried out on a river.
A check found that there is not a single document for the collector into which the river is fed.
„My information is that the DNSK is currently preparing an act to establish illegal construction and a prescription for the demolition of this correction of the river, which is located in the hotel. You understand that there is no way to demolish this if it does not demolish the hotel“, Ivanov also said.
The Regional Ministry and the Ministry of Ecology are joining forces to inspect other settlements in the country at risk from natural disasters.
“We will apply a model for integrating spatial data. We will plot the data of the buildings that are built in such sites on our maps. If differences are found, we will carry out physical inspections“, announced the Minister of Ecology Manol Genov.
