PP-DB MP Lena Borislavova reminded the ITN leader Slavi Trifonov that he owes her 20,000 leva in a case related to the "mocking and humiliating song" about her, FOCUS reported.
This happened after earlier on Saturday Trifonov commented on proposals from his party for changes to the Penal Code, which provide for high fines and imprisonment for persons publishing personal information without permission.
"For two days now I have been wondering whether to write on the topic of the ITN's obscurantist law. My deep conviction is that the less attention we pay to ITN, the better for humanity“, Borislavova wrote on Facebook.
"I am addressing this same Slavi Trifonov, who has apparently forgotten that he owes 20,000 leva because I condemned him for the mocking and humiliating song about me. The same Slavi Trifonov, who refuses to pay the awarded compensation and is currently appealing the court decision,“ she added.
The MP also published her entire address to Trifonov:
"Dear Mr. Trifonov,
I remind you that you are the man who made a career and became rich with millions, making fun of other people, insulting them and creating the most vile slanders, mockeries and vile skits.
Your actions influenced generations of Bulgarians, by simplifying and corrupting them with your verbal tricks and immoderate "jokes“. And your MPs today represent the lowest manifestation of the Bai-Ganyovshchina in parliament.
If you want to do something meaningful, start with yourself and your MPs. Create a show and television in which the humor and satire are classy and tasteful, as Aleko Konstantinov did.
Discuss with your MPs, especially Toshko Yordanov, how to behave and how not to behave in the hall. They often set a disgusting example for MPs with their statements and behavior, and the competition is not small.
Instead of arguments, your MPs often pour insults, humiliations and misogyny, turning the National Assembly into a scene of verbal aggression.
One wonders where in the chain evolution went wrong.
Therefore, Mr. Trifonov, start with yourself before you want to impose 6 years in prison on all other citizens.
In the meantime, I will continue to sue you in the second instance.
