Extraordinary sampling of drinking water continues in the territory of Nessebar Municipality due to established deviations in microbiological indicators in the holiday village of Elenite and Sveti Vlas after the flood.
This was announced by the Municipality of Nessebar on its official website, quoted by dariknews.bg.
The extraordinary monitoring is carried out by the Regional Health Inspectorate (RHI) - Burgas and Water Supply - Burgas. The samples are tested for chemical and microbiological indicators.
Water Supply & Burgas has taken action to increase the amount of chlorine supplied, with the aim of increased disinfection of the water due to the results of deviations.
No deviations from the regulatory indicators have been reported in the remaining settlements in the municipality.
The extraordinary control of the quality of drinking water continues in the laboratory at the Water and Sewerage Department - Burgas until permanent and consistent results are achieved, meeting the requirements for water intended for drinking and domestic needs.
On Tuesday, bottled drinking water from the state reserve was distributed in Sveti Vlas and at the entrance to the Elenite holiday village. The measure was taken after the water from the central water supply was declared unfit for drinking and preparing food as a result of the flood.
