A young man took his own life in broad daylight in front of horrified passersby. The tragic incident occurred yesterday at a driving school in the "Dabnika" district, the Vratsa Ministry of Interior confirmed.
On Tuesday, October 14, at around 3:30 p.m., an employee of a driving school in Vratsa called the police asking for help. He stated that in the school's foyer, a young man had broken the glass of the company's front door with his head. After breaking the door with a larger piece of glass, he had cut himself in the neck area.
The man died within minutes from blood loss.
The suicide bomber's name is Petar Kirov. He had mental illnesses, for which he had been taking medication for the past few months, Trud writes.
Kirov is married, with a 4-year-old daughter. His wife Pamela, originally from the small town of Roman near Vratsa, is in shock. The young mother told her relatives that nothing in her husband's behavior indicated this end.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the case.
