The rotation failed because of Borisov's attempt to legitimize Peevski's political power. This is the whole struggle that we see today. We have no way to legitimize it. This was stated by the co-chairman of the parliamentary group of "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB), academician Nikolay Denkov, in the program "Since the Day" on BNT.
We want two things - Peevski to be thrown out of politics and the state to continue working, because people have expectations, he explained.
At the moment, from everything we see and hear, Borisov wants to bring more Peevski into power. I don't see in what format we can appear. We already have experience with such a coalition, explained Academician Denkov.
According to him, the BSP is divided on the issue of whether they want to continue governing with Peevski. Obviously, the government is dominated by the “New Beginning“. According to Denkov, there is no way to stabilize the state in this situation.
Borisov's angry speech had several goals – to divert attention from the main problems, because he did not know what to do in the coming days, the second - to what extent to allow Peevski to enter through the front door and the third is for the ITN and the BSP, to know that their role is ending and they will either reform according to Peevski or leave, he explained.
In Pazardzhik we saw that the vote buyers are absolutely unscrupulous and they decide what the result will be in the neighborhoods, said the co-chairman of the PP-DB parliamentary group.
There is no way we can support Natalia Kiselova as Speaker of the National Assembly, said Academician Denkov. And he added: “Let's see what they will propose. The key issue in the coming days and weeks will be the budget“.
