There are violations in the training and driving exam of the 18-year-old young man who died, along with two other boys on the road near Sozopol. This was established by the first results of the extraordinary inspection. The instructor incorrectly recorded that night driving courses were taken, which were held during the daylight hours. Today is a day of mourning in Sozopol.
The paper record for the training of the 18-year-old young man who crashed his car into a roadside tree on Friday night, records one night driving during the course, BNT reported.
Chief Inspector Todor Atanasov, "Automobile Administration" – Burgas: “The night ride was done on June 20, around 5:00 p.m., which cannot be night ride, provided that it is light outside, during the day. For the chairman of the training center, the sanction is 1,000 leva. It is purely administrative“.
The instructor, who will be sanctioned, explains why he entered the data in this way.

BNT: In this sense - have you driven in the dark with the young man?
– Well, now, it may not have been, it is not like at 00:00 a.m. a dungeon. Then we have to drive from 00:00 to 02:00 in the evening. There must be someone to blame, yes. Who will be to blame – the instructor“.
There will also be sanctions for the examiner. The recordings during the practical exam show that he did not put on his seatbelt. According to the inspection, the video can also be concluded that the deceased young man did not make any mistakes. He seemed confident and adequate to the road situation. According to experts, however, the route was of medium difficulty, without complex turns.
Detelin Kanchev, Association for Qualification of Motorists in Bulgaria: “The chairman of the examination committee has changed the route four times from the one assigned to him by the electronic system – navigator. There must be some valid reason such as a traffic jam, such as a traffic accident. I haven't seen one in the four re-rotations“.
Experts claim that there is still a loophole in the digitalized system through which hours can be entered manually, which allows for fictitious inscriptions. That is why they insist that the system be improved.
