In the name of shared governance of the state between the three coalition formations, GERB and ITN raised the issue of a rotating presidency of the National Assembly. This happened during a meeting of the Joint Governance Council (JGC), the GERB party reported on its Facebook page.

Constructive talks between the partners on Budget 2026 have also started. Talks on both topics will continue in the coming days, and the work of the National Assembly will resume tomorrow, Boyko Borisov's formation also says.

Nova TV recalls that tensions escalated sharply after the elections in Pazardzhik, and at the end of last week both the Prime Minister and GERB leader Boyko Borisov stated that responsibility for a stable majority must be borne equally by everyone in the government. Both expect the BSP and "There is such a people" to answer the question of whether they agree with Delyan Peevski's official participation in the majority. The resignation of Natalia Kiselova as Speaker of the National Assembly was also put on the negotiating table, after the GERB leader indicated that it was time for a representative of the largest parliamentary party to take the post.
