The annual repair of the sixth unit of the "Kozloduy" NPP begins, which will start on October 25 and will last until the beginning of December. The shutdown of nuclear power has been coordinated with the Central Dispatching Department at "Electricity System Operator" EAD after a preliminary application, "Nova TV" specified.
All activities envisaged in the program of the planned repair of the sixth unit for 2025 are provided with the necessary resources and highly qualified personnel, which guarantees their quality implementation. During the outage, the activities set out in the annual repair program will be implemented, and comprehensive preventive maintenance and technical maintenance of the systems and facilities will be carried out, which will ensure the safe and reliable operation of the unit.
At the same time, the planned measures related to the long-term operation of the nuclear power plant units will be implemented. The reactor of unit six will be reloaded with fresh nuclear fuel for the next 31st fuel campaign. Unit five of the Kozloduy NPP is operating according to the electricity production schedule.
