The leader of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov expressed the opinion that the American sanctions against the Russian oil sector will not affect the work of the refinery in Burgas:
"It will not affect in any way, because this company works with suppliers that are outside even the European Union and it has been working for several years since 2022, so the only way it will affect is that political forces, among others from the ruling party and the so-called opposition, will try to use this situation to steal this business. But when Bulgarian politicians talk like this, they give a terrible signal to investors".
