The changes in the Investment Promotion Act, which provide for the sale of the refinery in Burgas to take place after approval by the State Agency for National Security and with a decision of the Council of Ministers, became an occasion for a clash between "DPS - New Beginning" and "Vazrazhdane". The debates in the hall were accompanied by sharp remarks and a slight physical altercation.

"When even in parliament someone allowed himself to curse you in the most simple, brutal way while you were speaking from the podium, the least Anastasov needed to hear was that he was a Janissary," commented the deputy chairman of "Vazrazhdane" Tsoncho Ganev in "Speak Now" on BNT.

Ganev explained the position of "Vazrazhdane" on the refinery case:

"Borisov will not make any decisions even about the refinery in Burgas. The decisions are related to madness – throwing out one of the largest excise tax payers in the country. This is "Lukoil" – one of the most important sources for the budget".

He stressed that any sale of the refinery must be coordinated with the State Agency for National Security, which according to him is "directly controlled by the chairman of "DPS - New Beginning".

Tsoncho Ganev warned about the effect on investors:

"What is happening with the refinery is a huge signal, a huge red light for all investors in the country". Every owner has the right to decide whether to sell their business or keep it, and no one has the right to pressure them, just because it is profitable for someone".
