The MPs are meeting for an extraordinary plenary session at 1:00 p.m. The only item on their agenda is the second reading of the amendments to the Law on Medical Institutions.

The requests are that from next year the basic salary of doctors should be equal to 150% of the average salary, and for nurses and midwives - 125 percent of the average salary.
The request for the extraordinary session of parliament is an initiative of "Continuing the Change", which gathered the support of all opposition parties.
