In order to combat aggression in schools more effectively, the Ministry of Education is increasing the number of psychologists. This was announced by Education Minister Krasimir Valchev, who was in the Dupnitsa village of Kraynici today.
"We have many cases of violence in schools. Not only in schools. Schools do not generate violence. They are a place where violence manifests itself, unfortunately. The main function of teachers and schools is to educate. They cannot be security guards. They cannot guard so as not to allow violence, especially outside of school. But they must educate and there is no educational system that does not have an educational function. That is why now, with the changes in the curricula, and with this additional class that we offer on "Virtues and Religions", we want to strengthen the educational function. "Especially good upbringing," commented Education Minister Krasimir Valchev.
