We react extremely hostilely and aggressively to the violation of airspace. This was what Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev told journalists about the air violation that Poland detected when intercepting a Russian reconnaissance plane over the Baltic Sea, BTA reports.

"There have been such incidents several times in recent months. We have achieved unanimity from both the EU member states and the partners and allies in NATO," Georgiev said before the start of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy, which is being held in the National Assembly.

He described the actions of the Russian Federation as "extremely provocative", the aim of which is "undermining the security and peace situation in Europe". According to Georgiev, such actions cannot meet any other reaction than determination to counter. "In this regard, initiatives such as the safe sky, such as the drone wall, in which Bulgaria also declared its part and participation", he added.

"The Black Sea is a border zone with war. The Black Sea must enjoy the absolute attention of our allies and partners, therefore we want a greater presence from their side in the Black Sea. "The Russian Federation has not demonstrated in any way its readiness to achieve peace," said Minister Georgiev.
