A museum where you can touch the light

New place for science and art in Sofia

Over 100 interactive exhibits turn formulas and experiments into an unforgettable experience in the new place for science and art in Sofia, writes Nova TV.

The first-of-its-kind science and art museum has opened in the center of Sofia, turning complex formulas, experiments and paintings into an unforgettable experience. Over 100 interactive exhibits are located on an area of 500 square meters, proving that curiosity is the best way to learn something new. There are no "Do not touch!" signs here, because everything is designed to be touched.

The creator of the unique space is Miryan Kostadinov, known from the X Factor stage, who is fulfilling his old family dream. His goal is to show that science is not just what is written in textbooks. "We want to give wings to many young people to feel these things as useful and important for humanity", he shares.

The museum was created with children in mind, but it also excites adults. Visitors can experiment with physical phenomena, control lightning, give commands to a robot dog and immerse themselves in optical illusions.

One of the most impressive exhibits is dedicated to plasma - the fourth aggregate state of matter. "Plasma is the most popular matter in the Universe around us. It makes up 99.9% of everything around us. However, on Earth we only see it in the form of the northern lights and lightning," explains Miryan Kostadinov. In the museum, this effect is achieved through high-voltage electricity, which allows visitors to literally touch the light.

After all the experiments, smiles, and surprises, visitors leave with a sense of awakened curiosity in children and childlike inspiration in adults.
