The government will submit the draft state budget for next year for consideration in the National Assembly next Friday, BNR sources reported.
The chairman of the Council of the Joint Management Council (JMC) Kostadin Angelov from GERB defined the draft budget for 2026 as the only possible budget for the country at this moment.
He confirmed that an increase in teachers' salaries, as well as an increase in salaries in healthcare, is also planned for next year:
"For GERB as a responsible party, it was (the goal - ed. note) to find the balance that is possible. This is the possible balance. It reflects political realities, it guarantees the financial stability and political stability of the state at this moment", commented Angelov on the air of the Bulgarian National Radio.
And more: "Everything that started as income policy will continue - GERB will not be the party that stops income policy. And now the priority remains education, now we are once again raising healthcare as our priority - in terms of policy for young doctors and all others working in the "Healthcare" sector, said Kostadin Angelov.
